100 EDUCATIONAL GRANTS FOR STUDY IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Starting May 20, 2024, applications will be accepted for studying at higher educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan under the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Applications are accepted online through the «Electronic Government» portal – eGov.kz or in person at the Center for International Programs (CIP) office in Astana from 9:00 AM on May 20, 2024, to 6:30 PM on June 13, 2024.

100 grants are allocated for Kazakh citizens:

• Technical specialties: 50 places (bachelor's – 40, master's – 10).
• Medical specialties: 5 places (bachelor's/specialist/internship).
• Humanitarian-economic specialties: 45 places (bachelor's – 35, master's – 10).

The language of instruction is Tajik/Russian.

The grant covers the following expenses:

• Free tuition.
• Monthly stipend according to national legislation.
• Medical care.

Other expenses, including transportation and accommodation, are to be covered by the grant recipient.

The selection process, conducted by the Kazakh side, consists of the following stages:

• Personal Interview: Conducted with candidates by members of the independent expert commission, including online.
• Review of Materials: The final commission reviews the candidates' materials and makes a decision.

To participate in the competition, you need to fill out the current application form.
When filling out the form, you must choose a state higher education institution. You can view the list of institutions and specialties here.

Documents must be submitted to JSC «Center for International Programs» and will be accepted only if complete.

To submit documents via the «Electronic Government» portal, you need an Electronic Digital Signature (EDS), which can be obtained remotely. You can find instructions for obtaining EDS online at eGov.kz. If you encounter difficulties with electronic services, you can contact the virtual operator at the previous link or use the free contact center call at 1414.

After obtaining EDS, you will need to submit your documents through eGov.kz. Instructions for submitting documents online can be found at the link: youtube.com.

According to point 17 of the Rules for Sending, in the case of equal scores, preference is given to:

1. Orphans and children left without parental care;
2. Disabled from childhood and children with disabilities, provided they have a medical certificate (for abroad travel) in form No. 072;
3. Children from large families;
4. Applicants from rural areas who have lived in rural areas for the last 2 years;
5. Applicants with invitations from foreign educational institutions, as well as those studying at foreign educational institutions.

According to subparagraph 4) of paragraph 21, the winner of the competition must return to the Republic of Kazakhstan after completing academic studies abroad and engage in continuous work for a period of 1 year.
