On March 26, 2024, the acceptance of documents for studying at higher educational institutions in the Republic of Poland under the «Bachelor's», «Master's», and «PhD» programs will begin, as part of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Poland. Applications are accepted online through the «Electronic Government» portal - eGov.kz or in person at the CIP office in Astana from 9:00 AM on March 26, 2024, to 6:30 PM on April 18, 2024.
For Kazakhstani citizens, 11 scholarships are allocated:
The scholarship covers the following expenses:
Accommodation for Kazakhstani citizens in the Bachelor's and Master's programs is at the student's own expense. All scholarship recipients beginning their stay in Poland must have health insurance.
The language of instruction is Polish. Mandatory preparatory courses in Polish are provided.
The selection process for candidates from Kazakhstan consists of the following stages:
1) Personal interviews with candidates by members of an independent expert commission, including online interviews;
2) Review of candidates' materials and decision-making by the Final Commission.
The main criteria for selecting candidates are:
1) Foreign language proficiency level based on a point system;
2) Average grade of the educational document based on a point system;
3) Evaluation by the Independent Expert Commission.
To participate in the competition, you must fill out the current application form for the NAWA program. When completing the form, you must select a state university. You can find the list of specialties on the universities' websites.
To submit documents through the «Electronic Government» portal, an electronic digital signature (EDS) is required, which can be obtained remotely. Instructions for obtaining an EDS online (remotely) can be found at eGov.kz. If you encounter difficulties in receiving electronic services, you can contact the virtual operator through the previous link or use the free call to the Contact Center at 1414.
After obtaining the EDS, you will need to submit the documents through Egov.kz. Instructions for submitting documents online can be found at the following link: youtube.com
According to paragraph 17 of the Rules for Sending Candidates, when selecting candidates for studying abroad under international treaties/agreements, in case of equal points, preference is given in the following order:
1) Orphans and children left without parental care;
2) Disabled children from childhood and children with disabilities who are not contraindicated for studying in relevant foreign educational institutions, having submitted a medical certificate (for going abroad) in form No. 072/u, approved by the order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020, No. ҚР ДСМ-175/2020 "On approval of forms of accounting documentation in the field of healthcare" (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts under No. 21579);
3) Children from large families;
4) Candidates from rural settlements who have lived in rural settlements for the last 2 (two) years;
5) Candidates with invitations from foreign higher education institutions, as well as those studying in foreign higher education institutions.

According to subparagraph 4) of paragraph 21, it is required for the winner of the competition to return to the Republic of Kazakhstan after completing their academic studies abroad and to engage in continuous employment for a period of 1 (one) year.
