Arman Suleimenov is an outstanding graduate of the international Bolashak program. In 2010, he completed his bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Purdue University.
The company founded by this Bolashak graduate provides training in technologies that are in demand in Silicon Valley.
Arman's brainchild, «Zero To One Labs and nFactorial Incubator», where he serves as CEO and founder of the studio, was established eight years ago. The company has since launched over 110 original mobile applications and trained more than 200 engineers and designers.
One of the first products that garnered significant public interest was the chat app for women called Kelin (Forbes Kazakhstan wrote about it in their mobile app ranking in September 2016). In collaboration with the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Zero To One Labs developed an app that reduces the time needed to draft administrative penalty protocols. A protocol that previously took 15–30 minutes to complete is now ready in two to three minutes. Some of the interesting applications created by Arman and his team include the Japanese kanji learning app Kanji Ninja, the video greeting app from celebrities Imbra, and the motivational app Persimmon (Forbes Kazakhstan). The goal is to make IT the driving force of Kazakhstan’s economic growth over the next five years by training 10,000 world-class IT specialists.
Additionally, Arman is part of the founding team of Collections (YC S12) in Mountain View, California. He is a finalist of the ACM ICPC World Programming Championship in 2009 (Stockholm, Sweden) and 2011 (Orlando, USA).
Moreover, Arman hosts the nFactorial Podcast on YouTube. The format is canonical conversational masterclasses featuring inspiring experts from various industries, where guests share the most important lessons from different areas of life and inspire others to create a new future, starting with themselves. As of today, the channel has more than 102,000 subscribers.
It is worth noting that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Bolashak international scholarship! The primary mission of the program is to prepare highly qualified personnel for the national economy. More than 12,500 graduates are working for the benefit of the country in various fields: in government administration, medicine, the agro-industrial sector, and many other vital areas that ensure the growth of the national economy.
