С 28-летием программу «Болашақ» поздравляет проректор The University of Warwick, профессор Mike Shipman.
University of Warwick would like to congratulate Bolashaq on 28 years of working to support the best and brightest Kazakh students, to realise their potential through academic study. The work undertaken by Bolashaq to build its international scholarship programmes is truly commendable, equipping their graduates with the skills and talent to play a crucial role in the longer term economic and social development of Kazakhstan. We are proud to have hosted many excellent Bolashaq scholars over the last 15 years and we look forward to continuing to do so in the future.
Over the years, we have received students at all stages of their academic careers, from Language and Foundation students, through to Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral students. Research and Education at Warwick continue to place increasing emphasis on cross- and inter-disciplinary programmes, and we are delighted that Bolashaq have updated their subject range to support such innovative and interdisciplinary degrees. Such courses are certainly very popular with prospective scholars.
Bolashaq scholars compose the substantial part of the Warwick Kazakh Society, one of our 250+ Student Societies run by our Student Union. We are delighted to see that the Warwick Kazakh Society is starting to revive its programme of events after the pandemic, and is planning to hold its annual ball in 2022.
The Bolashaq programme developed by Government of Kazakhstan and managed by the Centre for International Programmes is without doubt one of the most successful global scholarship programmes. We wish to congratulate everyone who has contributed to its development and we look forward to our continued collaboration.
Yours sincerely Professor Mike Shipman FRSC Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International)
