THE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS ESTABLISHES CONTACTS WITH LEADING UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH INSTITUTES WORLDWIDE

In response to numerous requests from researchers, the Center for International Programs is implementing assistance in establishing contacts with leading universities and research institutes around the world.

Experts from the Center for International Programs will officially and free of charge assist in establishing connections and obtaining invitations from foreign universities and research institutes for the «500 visiting scholars» scientific internship program.

The «500 visiting scholars» project provides an opportunity for hundreds of researchers from various cities in Kazakhstan to undertake internships at leading research centers and universities worldwide to enhance their qualifications and conduct research.

To receive assistance, applicants should send their request to 500galym@bolashak.gov.kz.

IMPORTANT: Please review the requirements before submitting your application.

The application must include the following information:

• Full Name;
• Confirmation of employment at an accredited scientific and/or research-technical organization for at least 12 months;
• Name of the priority research area and specialization;
• Valid certificate of Kazakh language proficiency (Kaztest or Qazaq Resmi Test);
• If applying for an internship in a foreign language – a certificate of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo);
• List of scientific results or links to documents (articles or reviews indexed in international databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, or in domestic or foreign scientific journals recommended by the authorized body, and/or international PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) applications);
• Name of the organization/country where you would like to undertake the internship;
• Resume.
