Aliya Ospanova spoke at the Central Asian Women's Forum Be Woman alongside leading global speakers.
Today, the Chairwoman of the Board of the Center for International Programs, Aliya Ospanova, participated as a speaker at the Central Asian Women's Forum Be Woman in Almaty. The forum brought together outstanding women leaders from around the world. Among the key speakers were such renowned figures as Maye Musk — a well-known model and dietitian, the mother of Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Ksenia Sobchak — journalist and public figure, and Tatyana Bakalchuk — founder and CEO of the largest marketplace, Wildberries.
The forum gathered over 100 speakers from 12 countries and featured six panel sessions dedicated to key issues of women's development in science, business, technology, and education.
Aliya Ospanova spoke at the panel session "Education: IN or OUT," where she shared her vision of the importance of education for women and how it serves as a driver for personal and professional growth.
"Bolashak scholarship holders have helped Kazakhstan become the most economically strong country in the region. It is an effective tool for substituting foreign personnel, who held key positions in the 1990s. Today, Bolashak alumni are the political elite, leading managers, successful entrepreneurs, renowned doctors, and engineers," said Aliya Ospanova.
She emphasized that women in Central Asia have immense potential, which is unlocked through education.
"Today, our women are capable of overcoming any barriers. Education and strong networks give them the opportunity to influence the world around them and change it for the better," added Aliya Ospanova.
The Be Woman Forum has become an important platform for exchanging experiences and building connections between women who are breaking gender stereotypes and becoming leaders in their fields.
