Olzhas Sakenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "Center for International Programs" took part in a seminar on sustainable management of natural resources at Nazarbayev University.
The seminar is held for the first time and is aimed at current challenges and opportunities in the field of exploration and mining of metals. The organizers were the Science Foundation JSC, Nazarbayev University and the national network SDSN Kazakhstan.
The workshop was held in a brainstorming format, and experts from the industrial sector - representatives of companies - presented their projects on the potential of development and mining of rare metals, transition to green energy and other important topics. In his speech, Olzhas Sakenov noted the achievements of Kazakhstani researchers.
"I would like to recognize the remarkable achievements of our scientists who have dedicated their time and experience to advancing knowledge in various fields of science. Most of the research conducted by our scientists has been conducted in the fields of education, engineering, social and natural sciences. Many of them conducted their research in renowned educational and research centers around the world, including the United States, Great Britain and European countries," - said the Chairman of the Board.
