At a plenary session of the Mazhilis, Deputy Bolat Kerimbek submitted a parliamentary inquiry to Deputy Prime Minister Tamara Duissenova and raised the issue of the future of the "Bolashak" program.
According to Deputy Bolat Kerimbek, it is wrong to shut down this unique state program because of the negative actions of one or two individuals.
"To date, more than twelve thousand specialists have been trained under the 'Bolashak' program. They have received academic degrees from prestigious universities. Through this program, rural youth, civil servants, scientific, and teaching staff have had the opportunity to study at the world's top universities," said the deputy.
The Mazhilis deputy noted that "Bolashak" graduates are in demand in all sectors of the country's economy.
"Today, future graduates work in all major institutions, national companies, and across all sectors. For example, one of the program’s graduates, surgeon Mynzhylky Berdykhozhaev, is one of the few doctors performing high-tech brain vessel surgeries. He has conducted over six thousand operations to date. Additionally, Medet Makhanbet has performed more than seventy unique ear surgeries. This is just some of the positive experience in the field of medicine. There are highly qualified specialists who have achieved great success in other fields as well," said Bolat Kerimbek.
