A meeting was held at the Center for International Programs with Rosemary Bai, Marketing Coordinator of the Office of Academic Liaison at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the Center by Abay Rakhmet, Deputy Chairman of the Board, and Ainur Nurmukhametova, Chief Manager of the International Cooperation Department. Other participants included Samgat Bulebayev, Director of the Human Resources Department at NIS; Anara Chaukerova, Senior Manager of the Department of Education Quality Assessment and International Accreditation at NIS; and Azamat Tulepbergenov, Head of the College and Career Counseling Department at Bilim Innovation.
The parties discussed in detail the opportunities to expand potential cooperation within PhD programs, including avenues for developing joint projects between the Center for International Programs (CIP) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen).
In addition, the meeting explored opportunities to send senior school teachers from NIS and BIL to the University for a Professional Internship Program, as well as effective approaches to experience exchange and the enhancement of professional competencies. In the long term, key areas for expanding cooperation, integrating academic and professional projects, and defining strategic priorities for collaboration were identified.
This meeting served as a continuation of previously established partnerships. In particular, at the invitation of CUHK-Shenzhen, representatives of the Center participated in the International Partner Day 2025 held in Shenzhen in November, where they presented information on the Bolashak Scholarship Programs, as well as scientific and professional internship opportunities. The event brought together representatives of leading international universities and educational organizations to strengthen global cooperation in the field of education.
