The head of the Bolashak International Program took part in a meeting within the framework of the 2023 Job Fair

On July 25, 2023, in Astana, with the joint support of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan Alumni Association of the People's Republic of China, a meeting was held in a hybrid format within the framework of the "2023 Job Fair" of graduates of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China with Chinese enterprises.

The job fair gathered on its site more than 21 companies that presented vacant jobs.

Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "Center for International Programs" Olzhas Sakenov made a welcoming speech at the meeting.

Olzhas Sakenov spoke about the work carried out within the framework of the Bolashak scholarship program, about possible promising relationships between Chinese enterprises in Kazakhstan and Bolashak fellows. He also noted that to date, the universities of China have trained 137 Bolashak students who have graduated from international top universities, such as Beijing Jiaotong University, China Agricultural University, Fudan Univesity. In popular specialties such as Petroleum Geology, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology. The main focus of applicants for study in the PRC falls on humanitarian and technical specialties. Summing up, Sakenov noted that the Center provides employment for graduates of the Bolashak scholarship program.

The meeting was attended by more than 100 people, including Zhang Xiao, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Kazakhstan , representatives of various universities, heads and representatives of Chinese enterprises in Kazakhstan, as well as representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China in Kazakhstan Chen Hong Chiang.
