The memorandum was signed by the Chairwoman of the Board of the Center for International Programs JSC, Aliya Ospanova, Wabtec HR International Vice President, Sherry Reardon, and the Director of the Wabtec branch in Kazakhstan, Gaini Duisenova.

The parties have identified several areas of mutual cooperation, including the opportunity for Bolashak scholarship recipients to undertake internships at Wabtec's international offices and production facilities.
It is noteworthy that during President of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev's working visit to the USA on September 17, 2023, a meeting was held with Wabtec's CEO, Rafael Santana, to discuss the development of the transportation industry in Kazakhstan.
