At the Center for International Programs, a meeting was held with Anar Muratovna, Director of the A. Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics. The discussion centered on sending Kazakh linguists to Oxford as part of the «500 visiting scholars» scientific internship program, specifically to study the Kazakh language.
Previously, a memorandum was signed to launch the Kazakh language study program at Oxford University, involving the A. Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics, the National Scientific and Practical Center «Til Qazyna» named after Sh. Shayakhmetov, JSC «Center for International Programs», and the University of Oxford. The program aims to foster cooperation across various colleges and faculties under the Oxford Birsöz Initiative CIC.
The Oxford Birsöz Initiative is a self-governing public organization dedicated to fostering connections and partnerships in Turkology and Central Asian studies for the benefit of the Oxford community.
Aliya Ospanova remarked, «We are confident that this collaboration will open new horizons for Kazakhstani scientists and enhance international scientific ties».
Anar Muratovna expressed gratitude for the opportunity and emphasized the significance of such initiatives for advancing science and education in Kazakhstan.
