A meeting took place between Aliya Ospanova, Chairwoman of the Board of JSC «Center for International Programs», and Sanjar Jamalov, General Director of Mastercard in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, along with Asel Abdrakhmanova, Director of Business Development for the Public Sector in Central Asia.
The main goal of the meeting was to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the Center for International Programs and Mastercard, as well as the development of multi-currency premium cards for scholarship recipients and graduates of the Center's educational programs.
Aliya Ospanova emphasized, «We always strive to provide our scholarship recipients and graduates not only with the opportunity for quality education but also with comfortable living and financial conditions. Our programs involve extended stays abroad, so issues of safety and financial security are crucial. We are looking for a partner among Kazakhstani second-tier banks to provide convenient solutions for managing funds and supporting our students throughout their educational journey.»
One of the discussed aspects of the meeting was ensuring accessible and advantageous currency transactions for scholarship recipients, which is especially important for those studying in countries with different currency systems. Mastercard's premium cards will offer access to a range of benefits, such as special educational subscriptions, access to comfortable airport lounges, travel insurance, and more.
Sanjar Jamalov, General Director of Mastercard in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, added, «We are pleased to collaborate with the Center for International Programs. Our mission is to provide simple, secure, and accessible transactions worldwide. Mastercard is available in over 210 countries and territories. We are confident that Mastercard's premium cards will be beneficial for scholarship recipients, providing convenient and secure financial transactions, especially while studying abroad.»
Future collaboration with Mastercard and a Kazakhstani second-tier bank will enable the Center for International Programs to enhance its support for scholarship recipients and graduates, offering them not only quality education but also financial security and benefits abroad and in Kazakhstan.
