A meeting took place between Aliya Ospanova, Chairwoman of the Board of JSC «Center for International Programs», Kuanysh Seitzhanov, Head of the Central Office of the «Aul» Party, and Dauren Rakhymbek, Chairman of the «Aul Zhastary» Youth Wing, to discuss the preparation, retraining, and internships of specialists from rural areas abroad.
Since 2020, a quota for Kazakh citizens living in rural areas has been introduced under the international «Bolashak» program. Candidates in this category can participate in the competitive selection for the «Bolashak» international scholarship under preferential conditions: minimum foreign language proficiency requirements, free language preparation courses within Kazakhstan for up to 9 months and abroad for up to 3 months, and special collateral conditions. Additionally, rural candidates do not need to independently apply to foreign universities at the time of document submission. They can choose an educational institution from the recommended list after being awarded the scholarship.
Chairwoman of the Board Aliya Ospanova highlighted the importance of strategic partnership with the «Aul» Party.
«In 2024, the Center for International Programs is paying special attention to candidates from rural areas. My colleagues and I will conduct a series of visits to regions and meetings with local executive bodies to form a list of necessary specialties specific to each region», said A. Ospanova.
Kuanysh Seitzhanov, Head of the Central Office of the «Aul» Party, noted that the party is interested in the training and retraining of qualified personnel to develop the potential of rural areas.
«We will provide comprehensive support for organizing informational and explanatory work by the Center’s staff in the regions so that the maximum number of rural residents can take advantage of this opportunity», said K. Seitzhanov.
At the end of the meeting, the parties approved a plan of joint activities.
