MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM CONSTRUCTOR UNIVERSITY

Today, the Center for International Programs hosted a meeting with a delegation from Constructor University, located in Fegesack, Bremen, Germany. The delegation included the University’s Managing Director, Thomas Auf der Heyde, who is also the Vice President for International Affairs and Public Relations, and Irada Hageg, the Director of International Public Relations.

The parties discussed expanding cooperation in the areas of the «500 visiting scholars» scientific internships and the «Bolashak» program. Currently, 13 individuals are undergoing research internships at the university.

The Chairwoman of the Board of JSC «Center for International Programs», Aliya Ospanova, welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the ongoing work within the framework of the «Bolashak» international scholarship, «500 visiting scholars», intergovernmental grants, and «Study in kz.»

Thomas Auf der Heyde explained that instruction at the university is conducted in both German and English. The university is part of production centers, which provides invaluable experience and allows for research to be conducted directly within the production environments.

Students from over 120 countries study at the university. Major fields of study include programs for training highly qualified personnel in engineering, computer technology, artificial intelligence, chemistry, mathematics, logistics, business, and social sciences. Mr. Heyde expressed the university's readiness to further expand cooperation with the Center.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to assist Kazakhstanis in obtaining invitations under preferential categories for the «500 visiting scholars» scientific internship program.

Note: The university is ranked among the top 25% of universities worldwide and holds the 3rd position among international universities globally.
