A meeting between the Chairwoman of the Board of the Center for International Programs, Aliya Ospanova, and the “Bolashak” scholarship recipients took place in London. During the meeting, Aliya Ospanova presented the upcoming changes to the program and ambitious plans for the future. This sparked keen interest among the scholarship recipients, who actively asked questions about the program’s prospects and shared their experiences of studying and professional growth.

London is rightly considered one of the leading cities where “Bolashak” scholarship recipients receive education through world-leading programs. Some of the key universities where Kazakhstani scholarship recipients are studying include:

  1. Imperial College London
  2. University College London (UCL)
  3. King’s College London
  4. London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
  5. Queen Mary University of London

Out of the 297 scholarship recipients studying in the UK, 54 are pursuing master's and doctoral programs, as well as professional and scientific internships, specifically in London. In total, 89 scholarship recipients are undergoing research internships in the UK.

Aliya Ospanova also spoke about the creation of a digital dissertation fund, which received positive feedback from the meeting participants. The scholarship recipients noted that this project would help them access academic research and improve the quality of their work. Many expressed their gratitude for the introduction of digital tools such as the mobile app and digital platform, as well as the ability to electronically sign contracts, which has significantly simplified and accelerated the interaction process with the program.

The scholarship recipients eagerly shared their stories of studying in London, discussing the challenges of adaptation, successful projects, and academic achievements. They asked questions about the future of the program and opportunities for further education and internships.

Representatives from the Embassy were also present at the meeting, discussing consular registration and other related matters.
