An online meeting was held between Aliya Ospanova, Chairwoman of the Board of the Center for International Programs, and the state fund of Uzbekistan «El-Yurt Umidi». This meeting was the first in the 30-year history of the Bolashak international program.
The meeting was attended by Adham Bekmurodov, Executive Director of the «El-Yurt Umidi» Fund, Javokhir Akhmedov, Deputy Director for Training Specialists Abroad and Dialogue with Compatriots, Aliya Ospanova, Chairwoman of the Board of the Center for International Programs, as well as heads of divisions of the Fund and the Center.
During the online meeting, Executive Director A. Bekmurodov acquainted Kazakh colleagues with the activities of the «El-Yurt Umidi» Fund. Information was presented on the number of scholars studying abroad and those who have returned from studies within the programs, as well as their employment and responsibilities. Representatives of the Center for International Programs and the Fund exchanged experiences in training personnel abroad, scholarship programs, and their implementation mechanisms.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation and sign a memorandum on the exchange of experience.
«El-Yurt Umidi» is a state fund in the Republic of Uzbekistan, established to foster close cooperation with scientists, specialists, and talented youth residing and working abroad through education and advanced training. The main directions of the Fund include training qualified specialists, actively utilizing the potential of compatriots in forming and supporting a positive image of Uzbekistan abroad, and establishing connections with international organizations.
