The Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in the framework of its cooperation with UN Tourism, announced the establishment of the Samarkand Campus of the International Tourism Academy

Within the framework of this initiative, 100 scholarships are planned to be awarded to citizens of OIC member states participating in UN Tourism under short-term and long-term educational programs in the field of tourism.

The International Tourism Academy is the first academy in the world established in cooperation with UN Tourism and functions as a regional center for professional development and retraining in the tourism sector.
