Under the chairmanship of the State Advisor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Karin, a regular meeting of the Republican Commission for Training Personnel Abroad was held.
By the decision of the Republican Commission, the "Bolashak" scholarship has been awarded to 184 Kazakh citizens. They will undergo master's and doctoral studies at leading universities around the world.
The Commission also discussed the issue of domestic scientists undertaking research internships at leading global scientific centers. The State Advisor emphasized that this initiative of the Head of State is aimed at stimulating the development of Kazakh science. Yerlan Karin noted that in distributing grants for research internships, it is essential to ensure the balanced representation of all priority areas of domestic science. This applies to both the humanities and social sciences, as well as engineering and technical specialties.
Following the meeting, State Advisor Yerlan Karin gave specific instructions for the further implementation and improvement of the competitive selection process for the "Bolashak" international scholarship and the research internship program.
