STATE COUNSELOR HELD A MEETING OF THE REPUBLICAN COMMISSION ON TRAINING PERSONNEL ABROAD

Under the chairmanship of State Counselor Erlan Karin, a regular meeting of the Republican Commission on Training Personnel Abroad took place.

During the meeting, a decision was made to award the international «Bolashak» scholarship to 150 citizens of Kazakhstan.

Of the total number of scholarship recipients, 120 will pursue master's degrees, 6 will undertake doctoral studies, and 24 Kazakh citizens will undergo internships at leading global universities and production centers.

Special attention was given to priority training areas – more than two-thirds of the scholarships were allocated to natural and technical sciences.

Additionally, 33 Kazakh citizens were awarded grants for scientific internships at leading global scientific and research centers. Erlan Karin emphasized the need for careful selection of candidates for scientific internships in line with the directives of the President's Address delivered on September 2. Therefore, only highly sought-after specialists in the most significant areas for the economy will be sent for scientific internships.

In conclusion, State Counselor Erlan Karin gave specific instructions on further improving the implementation processes of the international «Bolashak» scholarship and the scientific internship program, highlighting their crucial role in developing the country's scientific potential.
