BRITISH COUNCIL AT THE CIP OFFICE

Today, representatives from the Center for International Programs met with a delegation from the British Council in Kazakhstan. The delegation included Robert Taylor, Regional Director of the British Council; Alison Sriparam, Regional Exams Director for Europe; and Janar Rakhimzhanova, Director of the British Council Kazakhstan.

ONLINE CONTRACTS FOR "BOLASHAK" SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE

All winners of the research internships under the «500 visiting scholars» program have now signed their contracts online. Previously, the contract signing process took up to 90 days and required scholarship recipients and their guarantors to appear in person at the Center for International Programs office in Astana.

ROMANIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS FOR 2024-2025

The Embassy of Romania is pleased to announce the launch of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 academic year for international students.

Application Period: Candidates must submit their unique online application for the scholarship from January 16, 2024, to March 16, 2024.

Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program

The Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program has been supporting the individual development of young, ambitious, and active citizens from Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia for 24 years. Journalist Duisenali Alimakyn, who is studying «Journalism. Public Relations. Communication Management» in Washington, D.C., through the Bolashak program, has made a significant discovery. While gathering historical data about Kazakhstan in Washington's libraries and archives, he found more than 20 old books and paintings over the course of a month.
