On February 17, 2024, the world premiere of the opera «The Bruce» by composer Rakhatt-Bi Abdyssagin will take place, celebrating the 750th anniversary of the birth of Scottish King Robert I Bruce.

For the first time in history, the opera by the Kazakh composer will feature opera singers and conductors from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, with Rakhatt-Bi performing on the organ at every scene. The premiere will be held in four cities across the United Kingdom.

Rakhatt-Bi Abdyssagin is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under the Bolashak program.

On February 17, 2024, the world premiere of the opera «The Bruce» by Rakhat-Bi Abdysagin, a doctoral student of the Bolashak program and a composer-pianist, will take place at Glasgow Cathedral.
