SINGAPORE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY AND THE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

During the state visit of Kazakhstan’s President K. Tokayev to Singapore, the National University of Singapore (NUS), representing the Asia Research Institute (ARI), and the Center for International Programs JSC (CIP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Tim Bunnell, Director of ARI, and Abai Rakhmet, Deputy Chairman of the CIP.

MEETING WITH A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO

Today, the Center for International Programs hosted a meeting with a representative from the University of Illinois (Chicago, USA). The delegation included Dr. Amuei Torkmahalleh Mehdi, Associate Professor at the School of Public Health, specializing in Environmental Health and Occupational Hygiene.

100 EDUCATIONAL GRANTS FOR STUDY IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Starting May 20, 2024, applications will be accepted for studying at higher educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan under the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Applications are accepted online through the «Electronic Government» portal – eGov.kz or in person at the Center for International Programs (CIP) office in Astana from 9:00 AM on May 20, 2024, to 6:30 PM on June 13, 2024.

MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM CONSTRUCTOR UNIVERSITY

Today, the Center for International Programs hosted a meeting with a delegation from Constructor University, located in Fegesack, Bremen, Germany. The delegation included the University’s Managing Director, Thomas Auf der Heyde, who is also the Vice President for International Affairs and Public Relations, and Irada Hageg, the Director of International Public Relations.

The Center for International Programs, the administrator of the «Bolashak» presidential scholarship and the «500 visiting scholars» scientific internships, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Erasmus MC, a leading medical center of Erasmus University in the Netherlands. In response to numerous requests from researchers, the Center for International Programs is implementing assistance in establishing contacts with leading universities and research institutes around the world.

11 Kazakhstanis Recommended for Studies at Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Poland

Under the chairmanship of the Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Dinara Shcheglova, a meeting of the Final Commission for intergovernmental grants was held.

By the decision of the Final Commission, 11 Kazakhstanis have been recommended for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs at leading universities in Poland.

The final decision on awarding the educational grants will be made by the Polish side.

The grant covers the costs of academic education, and students in the doctoral program will receive a monthly stipend. Education will be conducted in Polish.
