Six researchers from Kazakhstan have completed their ten-month scientific internships under the «500 visiting scholars» program in the United Kingdom. They focused on biotechnological research. The «500 visiting scholars» scientific internships were organized by the Sustainable Biotechnology Group and the Genomic Engineering Laboratory of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Westminster in London.

RESULTS OF THE STUDY IN KAZAKHSTAN SELECTION: 550 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDYING IN KAZAKHSTAN

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the results of the competitive selection for the «Study in Kazakhstan» scholarship program for foreign citizens and individuals of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of Kazakhstan. The program, held annually since 2019, provided 550 scholarship places for study at leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan in 2024.

MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE BEIJING GENOMICS INSTITUTE

A meeting with a delegation of the scientific and medical company Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) was held at the office of the Center for International Programs. The delegation included Pavel Natalin (Business Development Manager), Evgeny Falchuk (Regional Sales Manager), and Zhong Yuming (Project Manager).
