The head of the CIP visited a number of research institutes and leading universities of the city, in particular KazNPU, KazNAU, MUIT, Narxoz, AlmaU. The list of grant holders for studying at leading universities in China included candidates with the highest average score based on the results of evaluating three criteria: the level of knowledge of a foreign language, the average score of a document on education and the average score based on the results of an interview.

The final competition committee included 32 winners in the list.

Applicants from rural areas, engineering and medical workers can undergo language training for up to 12 months before the start of training. They do not need to have an invitation from the university in their hands.
