INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION: MEETING WITH PRESTIGIOUS BRITISH UNIVERSITIES

Today, November 28, a meeting took place between Aiya Ospanova, Chairwoman of the Board of the Center for International Programs, and representatives from the British universities University of Manchester and Durham University.

During the meeting, issues of collaboration in higher education were discussed. Aiya Ospanova provided insights into recent innovations in the Bolashak International Program.

CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS SIGNS MEMORANDUM WITH FREEDOM FINANCE

On November 27, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Center for International Programs (CIP) and JSC «Freedom Finance Bank Kazakhstan» at the CIP office.

REVITALIZING PALEONTOLOGY IN KAZAKHSTAN – A BOLASHAK SCHOLAR OPENS NEW HORIZONS

As part of the Bolashak program, samples from sections of Kazakhstan (the greater and lesser Karatau ranges) were studied in the laboratory of Johns Hopkins University.

Sezim Mustapayeva, a PhD and Associate Professor in the Department of Geology at Satbayev University, has been conducting scientific research for several years on the evolution of organic remains in geological sections from the Lower Ediacaran to the Devonian-Carboniferous periods of the Karatau ranges. BOLASHAK GRADUATE PRODUCES A FIVE-PART DOCUMENTARY FILM DEDICATED TO THE KUNAYEV ERA

Aliya Ashim, a graduate of the Boston University School of Communications, journalist, blogger, and filmmaker, has produced a historical documentary film about the formation of Kazakh history, the rise of the nomenclature in power, and the development of culture and art in Kazakhstan from 1960 to 1989. FROM ALMATY TO SILICON VALLEY: HOW ARMAN SULEIMENOV, BOLASHAK PROGRAM GRADUATE, BECAME A LEADER IN KAZAKHSTAN'S IT INDUSTRY

Arman Suleimenov is an outstanding graduate of the international Bolashak program. In 2010, he completed his bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Purdue University.

Aliya Ospanova Appointed Head of the Center for International Programs

Aliya Ospanova has been appointed as the head of the Center for International Programs, the administrator of the Bolashaq program.

She was born on August 15, 1987, in the city of Taldykorgan.

Ospanova is a graduate of the Kazakh-British Technical University, Imperial College (UK), and the Quantic School of Business and Technology (USA).
